Overview
Liver DTX is a traditional Chinese herbal formula traditionally used as a complementary support for overall liver wellness, particularly for people managing liver-related lab findings or working through recovery from alcohol, drugs, or environmental exposures, always alongside their physician's care. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, liver imbalance is traditionally associated with damp-heat or toxic heat accumulating in the Liver. This traditional framework is not a medical diagnosis. Any diagnosed liver condition requires ongoing monitoring and treatment from a qualified physician.
⚠️ Contraindicated during pregnancy and nursing. Use with caution in cases of qi and yang deficiency. Do NOT use for acute liver failure — seek emergency medical care immediately. If loose stool occurs, reduce to 2 capsules twice daily.
California Prop 65 Warning: This product contains Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei). Read and follow directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain, because Da Huang may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
Clinical Applications & Benefits
Liver DTX is traditionally used to help support:
- General comfort and wellness alongside monitoring of liver-related lab findings, under a physician's care
- Recovery support following exposure to alcohol, recreational substances, or environmental toxins
- Overall liver wellness as part of a broader healthy lifestyle
This formula is traditionally used strictly as a complement to ongoing physician care for any diagnosed liver condition, never as a replacement for it.

Case Studies
The following reflect individual practitioner experiences and traditional use; results vary and are not guarantees of outcome for any individual, and none should be understood as a substitute for medical treatment of a diagnosed liver condition.
"D.T., a 56-year-old man, was monitoring elevated liver-related lab values alongside his physician, consistent with a Liver blood and yin deficiency pattern with blood stasis. While continuing his physician's care, he combined Liver DTX with Cholisma over several months and reported his lab values trended toward his physician's target range."
"A 36-year-old woman experienced intense morning head discomfort and sluggishness following overindulgence, consistent with damp-heat in the Liver and Gallbladder channel. After taking Liver DTX, she reported her traditional discomfort eased notably within a few hours."
"A 57-year-old woman, working with her physician on a diagnosed liver condition, experienced shortness of breath and upper body swelling, consistent with a Spleen qi deficiency pattern with phlegm. Alongside her medical care, she combined Liver DTX with Cholisma (ES) over several months and reported her overall condition improved, as confirmed by her physician's follow-up testing."
