Overview
GI DTX is a traditional Chinese herbal formula traditionally used as a short-term bowel cleanse to help support occasional constipation relief and general intestinal comfort. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, ongoing constipation is traditionally associated with toxic heat accumulation in the Intestines. This traditional framework is not a medical diagnosis, and this is a strong, short-term formula, not intended for daily or long-term use. Any persistent constipation, abdominal pain, or intestinal symptoms should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional.
⚠️ Important: Short-term use only — one 7-day course, no more than once every other month. Contraindicated during pregnancy, nursing, and menstruation. Not intended for individuals with weak constitutions, children, or geriatric individuals. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Contains Zhi He Shou Wu (Prepared Fo-Ti) — do not use if you have or are at risk for liver conditions. California Prop 65 warning: This product contains Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei). Read and follow directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain, because Da Huang may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
Clinical Applications & Benefits
GI DTX is traditionally used to help support:
- Short-term bowel cleansing and occasional constipation relief

— Bai Jiang Cao (Patrinia) and Bai Hua She She Cao (Hedyotis): traditionally used to support intestinal comfort and clear heat.
— Feng Wei Cao (Brake Fern): traditionally used to support colon comfort.
— Shan Yao (Chinese Yam) and Zhi He Shou Wu (Prepared Fo-Ti): traditionally used to moisten the bowels and support gentle stool passage.
— Fu Ling (Poria): traditionally used to help tonify the Spleen and Stomach and restore digestive balance after cleansing.
