Overview

Flex (TMX) is a traditional Chinese herbal formula, with historical roots in traditional Shaolin temple injury care, traditionally used to help ease pain, bruising, and swelling from acute trauma such as sports injuries, sprains, and bone fractures, and to support the body during post-surgical recovery. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, these conditions are traditionally associated with qi and blood stagnation. Flex (TMX) is designed to help invigorate blood circulation and support the body's natural healing process as a complementary traditional support, not a replacement for emergency or surgical care.

⚠️ Important: Contraindicated during pregnancy and nursing. In cases of concussion, seek hospital care immediately — do not use Flex (TMX) until the condition is stabilized (usually 7–10 days). Do not use if there is serious internal hemorrhage, as this formula contains herbs that activate blood circulation and may delay coagulation. Not designed for long-term use — intended only for the acute phase of injury. Contains Dang Gui Wei, which invigorates blood circulation — those on anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy such as warfarin should use with caution or avoid this formula. May cause mild gastrointestinal discomfort — take with food if needed. California Prop 65 notice: this product contains Da Huang — discontinue if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain.

Clinical Applications & Benefits

Flex (TMX) is traditionally used to help support comfort during:

  • Acute traumatic injuries — bruises, contusions, and sprains
  • Bone fractures, alongside appropriate medical care
  • Post-surgical recovery, to help support healing of soft tissue

This formula addresses the pattern from a traditional root-and-branch perspective. Any suspected fracture, concussion, or serious injury requires prompt medical evaluation — Flex (TMX) is a complementary support alongside, not instead of, appropriate medical care.

Key Herbs (TCM Data)

— Yan Hu Suo (Corydalis): traditionally considered one of the strongest analgesic herbs in the TCM materia medica.

— Ru Xiang (Frankincense) and Mo Yao (Myrrh): traditionally used together to relieve pain, reduce swelling, and support wound healing.

— Bai Shao (White Peony) and Gan Cao (Licorice Root): traditionally used together as an antispasmodic to relax tendons and muscles.

— Dang Gui Wei (Angelica Sinensis Tail): traditionally used to invigorate blood circulation and support wound healing.

— Er Cha (Catechu) and Mu Dan Pi (Moutan): traditionally used to reduce swelling and clear heat.

— Su Mu (Sappan) and Chuan Mu Xiang (Vladimiria): traditionally used to dispel blood stasis and ease inflammation.

— Hong Hua (Safflower) and Tao Ren (Peach Kernel): traditionally used to invigorate blood circulation and support healing.

— Da Huang (Rhubarb): traditionally used to help stop bleeding.

— Fu Ling (Poria): traditionally used to tonify the Spleen and support tissue recovery.
