Overview

Equilibrium is a traditional Chinese herbal formula traditionally used to help support healthy glucose balance and overall metabolic wellness, always as a complement to your prescribed medical care. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, patterns of excessive thirst, hunger, and urination are traditionally classified as xiao ke (wasting and thirsting) syndrome, generally associated with yin deficiency alongside damp-heat. Equilibrium is not a substitute for prescribed medical treatments, medication, or medical monitoring.

⚠️ Important: Contraindicated during pregnancy and nursing. Never stop or reduce a prescribed medication or insulin dose without your physician's guidance — doing so abruptly carries a risk of dangerously high blood sugar or diabetic ketoacidosis. This formula can never replace insulin, especially for those who require it, which must always be used under medical supervision. Continue monitoring your blood glucose regularly and share any herbal use with your care team. Contains Dan Shen, which invigorates blood circulation — those on anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy such as warfarin should use with caution or avoid this formula.

Clinical Applications & Benefits

Equilibrium is traditionally used to help support:

  • Healthy blood sugar balance alongside your prescribed medical care
  • Fluid comfort during occasional intense thirst
  • Comfort during excessive hunger or frequent urination
  • General metabolic and circulatory wellness

Ongoing metabolic health is a serious matter requiring professional medical management. This formula is intended only as a complementary traditional wellness support, and any change to medication or insulin dosing must be directed and supervised by your prescribing physician.

Key Herbs (TCM Data)

— Xi Yang Shen (American Ginseng) and Xuan Shen (Figwort): traditionally used to replenish vital essence and body fluids, helpful for excessive thirst.

— Huang Qi (Astragalus), Shan Yao (Chinese Yam), Bai Zhu, and Cang Zhu (Atractylodes): traditionally used to strengthen the Spleen and support healthy blood sugar balance.

— Dan Shen (Salvia Miltiorrhiza) and Hong Hua (Safflower): traditionally used to support healthy circulation.

— Lian Zi Xin (Lotus Plumule) and Lian Xu (Lotus Stamen): traditionally used to help support healthy urinary frequency.
