Overview

Neuro Plus is a traditional Chinese herbal formula traditionally used to help support memory, mental clarity, and healthy circulation, including circulation to the brain. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, age-related decline in these areas is traditionally associated with Kidney deficiency and blood stasis. This traditional framework is not a medical diagnosis. Neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke recovery are serious medical conditions that require diagnosis and ongoing care from a qualified healthcare professional; this formula is not a substitute for that care and should only be used alongside it, with your care team's knowledge.

Key Herbs (TCM Data)

— Yin Xing Ye (Ginkgo Leaf): traditionally used to support healthy circulation and mental clarity.

— Qian Ceng Ta (Huperzia Serrata): traditionally used to support memory and cognitive comfort.

— Dan Shen (Salvia Root), Shui Zhi (Hirudo), and Hong Hua (Safflower): traditionally used to support healthy circulation and ease blood stagnation; use with caution alongside anticoagulant medications.

— Wu Gong (Scolopendra) and Tian Ma (Gastrodia Rhizome): traditionally used to support muscular comfort and ease tension.

— Dong Chong Xia Cao (Cordyceps), Ba Ji Tian (Morinda Root), and Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia): traditionally used to nourish Kidney yin and yang.

— Zhi He Shou Wu (Prepared Fo-Ti): traditionally used to nourish the Kidney; contains prepared Fo-Ti, so it should not be used by those with liver disease or liver-disease risk factors.

— Ren Shen (Ginseng) and Huang Qi (Astragalus): traditionally used to support overall vitality and mental clarity.

Safety & Contraindications

1. Contraindicated during pregnancy and nursing.
2. Not intended for use during the acute phase of a hemorrhagic stroke; use only after the condition has stabilized and under medical guidance.
3. Contains Dan Shen; use with caution or avoid entirely if you take anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications such as warfarin, due to increased risk of bleeding and bruising.
4. Contains prepared He Shou Wu; do not use if you have liver disease or liver-disease risk factors.
5. A small number of people may notice a mild, temporary increase in blood pressure; reduce the dosage if this occurs and consult a healthcare professional.
6. This formula is not a substitute for medical care for any diagnosed neurological or neurodegenerative condition; use only as directed by, and alongside, your healthcare team.

Dosage & Directions

Standard dosage: 2–3 capsules three times daily on an empty stomach with warm water during the first week, increasing to 4 capsules three times daily thereafter. For general cognitive maintenance: 1–2 capsules twice daily. Evaluate with your healthcare provider after 1–2 months of continuous use.

Supplementary formulas: For general forgetfulness not tied to a diagnosed condition, this formula is traditionally paired with Enhance Memory instead. For constipation, it is traditionally paired with Gentle Lax (Deficient). For cardiovascular support, it is traditionally paired with Circulation.

Holistic Nutrition & Lifestyle

Nutrition: Small, frequent meals, a diverse diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds, and reducing fried, smoked, or processed foods are traditionally recommended. Limiting alcohol and smoking is also encouraged.

Lifestyle: Daily gentle exercise, deep breathing, and a positive outlook are traditionally recommended to support circulation and overall recovery. When recovering from any neurological event, exercise should always be supervised by a caregiver or professional given fall risk.
